Returns & Cancellations Policy

At UV Candles, every order is carefully prepared and packaged before shipping. We want you to receive your candle in perfect condition.

Returns

UV Candles does not offer voluntary returns or exchanges outside the statutory consumer rights described in this policy.

For online purchases, customers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. This means you may cancel your purchase within 14 days after receiving your order, without giving a reason, unless a legal exception applies.

If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us within the applicable 14-day period. After notifying us, the product must be sent back within the applicable legal period.

The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the product, provided this was clearly communicated before the purchase. The product should be handled only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. If the product has been used or handled beyond what is necessary to assess it, you may be responsible for any resulting loss in value, as permitted by law.

Refunds

When you validly exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, we will refund the purchase price and the standard delivery cost paid for the original shipment, in accordance with applicable law. Any additional delivery cost chosen by the customer is not required to be refunded. 

Refunds will be made using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.

Please provide:

• Your order number
• A brief description of the problem
• Clear photos of the candle and packaging

We will review the issue and provide an appropriate solution in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

Your statutory rights relating to defective or incorrectly supplied products are not affected by this policy.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order before it has been processed or shipped, please contact us as soon as possible.

Your statutory right of withdrawal remains applicable where required by Dutch and European consumer law.

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges as a voluntary service. If you have received a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, please contact us so we can resolve the issue in accordance with applicable law.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any statutory consumer rights under applicable Dutch or European law.
